Mathis Shipyard has from the beginning af what some call the "plastic-era", realized that there where development possibilities in building boats from composite materials, which is wood, fibre glass and carbon fibre. The problem has not been to use the new techniques, but to keep up with the craft quality we want to be recognized for. We believe that our products show, that our standards is close to the limit of what is achieveable today. Before the masts reach the skies it must be emphasized that we would not be where we are today without the clients whom gives us good orders and believe in our capability to get the job done. The clients ideas is our inspiration and with that inspiration and good relations with shipping companies and shipyards, almost anything is possible as long as the project development is kept within the demands for safety, useability and quality.
